Marcus has over 25 years of experience in Kitchen design, ranging from construction and cabinetry installation to CAD drafter and kitchen designer. Since joining the EKD team, he has continued to refine his craft under the mentorship of EKD’s owner, and his brother, Mikal Otten. Marcus’ design philosophy of “everything is possible with the right tools at the right time” is reflected in his work with his attention to detail and refined taste for modern design. His work has also earned him recognition in 2021 Colorado Homes & Lifestyles Five under Forty, as well as features and awards in Architectural Digest, Architectural Digest - Italy, Worlds Best Interiors From Around the Globe, and more.
